This is a wonderful vintage plate dating from early last century to do with the First World War.
It is made by Grimwades Winton in England and has a picture on the front depicting some soldiers hiding in a bunker that has just been fired at. There is a saying below them that reads "WHERE DID THAT ONE GO TO?" and there is also a signature of "B.B., Belgium, 1915" to the right of the picture.
It's is wonderful condition for it's age with no visible signs of rubbing or wear, not even to the gilding on the edge. It measures 17cm in diameter. The underneath rim also has a couple of manufactured holes in it to enable you to thread a piece of string through to hang the plate on the wall.
