Cost $30,000 new! for the kitset.
All you need is a few replacement parts and 4 x 40ft shipping containers.
It measures 15.5m x 24m and sits atop 4 x 40ft shipping containers. (about 6m to roof from ground)
We had been using this one to store Aircraft but it got hit by a tornado recently which bent parts of the structure and tore the fabric roof clean off and spat it out 500m away.
This is not normal, we are in a VERY High wind zone and this building has been through some intense storms unharmed. Was pretty suprising to look out my window and see the roof missing!!
It has been assessed by the makers who have quoted on the parts likely needed to repair it. They are: (ex gst)
- New roof canvas - $6840
- some t connectors @ $37.65 ea
- several purlins @ $44.75 ea
- lots of Tec Screws
Most of these parts are repairable, except for the roof canvas.
We are selling as it was only ever a temporary building for us and we plan to replace it with a larger Steel Structure.
