Relocatable Building 42 sqm

  Brand new item
No reserve  |  Closed: 3:12 pm, Sat 22 Nov 2008
This "ihouz home" is only one of three in bought into New Zealand.

Manufactured in 2006 before the building code was changed the only issue is that the insulation values are lower than required under the current code and the windows are not double glazed.

Built out of "Corten Steel" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weathering_steel) this building will out last the standard wooden structure with no maintenance.

This building consists of two bunk rooms one at each end. Both bedrooms have their own external door. Double bed can also fit in these rooms

Consists of one living/dinning/ kitchen area, a bathroom and a external services room that contains all services connections (water, power board, gas water heater mounting and waste water pipes)

The floors are finished in non skid rubber. It has frosted glass internal doors and wipe clean wall surfaces. Fully wired to 240 volts and fully plumbed read to be connected to services. This unit could be used remotely using solar power, gas for water heating and a waster water disposal system (all not included in this sale).

The bathroom consists of a wall to wall stainless steel wet floor, stainless steel hand basin and vanity and a wall mounted stainless steel toilet.

The special characteristics of the ihouz are that it transports in a form equal to the measurements of a 40 foot container and then expands out to spacious 42 square meters.

It can be transported to anywhere a standard container trunk can drive to and further as we have an off road transport system available to take these where other buildings can not get to.

In the same way it expands out it can be closed up in the future and moved on.

The ihouz may be able to be classed as a transportable building and not require a building permit however that would need to be investigated by the purchaser.

This is been sold as a second hand building with no manufacturers guarantee however it is in fact brand new and never been lived in.

hi there where did these originate from and do you have only one where are you based im in taranaki and to transport it how much would it cost thanks megan  posted by: zenergy (72 )  11:13 pm, Tue 18 Nov
These originate in China. You can log on to www.IHSL.biz to get a picture of the company behind them. I am involved in that business, being the designer and the inventor of two products. This is not a fly buy product. 1,000's of hours have been put into getting these right. This is a version one. Now up to version four. It cost $1,800 to transport this one from Nelson to Wellington. To Taranaki may be $1,500? Would need exact town to get a quote. The unit is currently in Wellington. 7:19 pm, Wed 19 Nov
These are buildings under the Building Act 2004 and will require building permits from ALL councils. Even caravans now need permits if they are lived in and not moved under the Building Act 2004.  posted by: wakepro (3639 )  9:01 am, Sat 22 Nov
