Hullo, how is the woodwork on this garage? Is there any rot to the studs or lower framing or weatherboards? I know there may be a bit of softness here or there but do you think it would handle being taken into sections and reassembled ok? Thanks.  posted by: grover13 (244 )  5:59 pm, Sun 16 Nov
Hi. The weatherboards + studs are in good shape and should stand up to being removed and assembled again. I imagine you'd want to replace the bottom-most weatherboard (window end of garage - see picture) as it has some rot. 6:23 pm, Sun 16 Nov

What is the profile of the weatherboards? (eg. 140x21 Imperial profile Bevel back is what I am after). Are they Pine, Rimu, Ceda, or other? Cheers.  posted by: rik.d (159 )  10:28 pm, Mon 17 Nov
They are bevelled at the back, approx 140 x 15. Believe them to be rimu. We would suggest you view to confirm. Thanks 8:50 pm, Tue 18 Nov
