RARE Bronze TERRITORIAL Cap Badge MEDICAL NZMC

This is the very SCARCE New Zealand TERRITORIAL Officer's Bronze Cap Badge MADE FROM the British Army Medical Corps BRONZE Officer's Cap badge..... for use by the TERRITORIAL New Zealand Medical Corps......As opposed to the Regular Force New Zealand ARMY Medical Corps

These two units AMALGAMATED early in 1947 and later that year received the "Royal" prefix

This badge is Oldham # 8/160 it is a CONVERSION from the British Royal Army Medical Corps BRONZE cap badge with the "NZMC" overlaid

This is the FIRST and ONLY such example that I have ever owned........Hence why I described as "rare"
