We have improved our troubleshooting process, making it easier to find relevant help pages and get in touch with our customer support team when you need further assistance.

When you receive an email response from us, you can now reply directly to the customer support representative who sent you the email.

7:10pm: Photos problem resolved

The previous issue where some photos were not being displayed correctly has now been resolved. Any photos that you have uploaded will be visible on your auction and within My Photos.

11:25: Credit Card Payments Problem

Our payment providers experienced some technical problems between 10:10am and 10:15am, and 11:00am and 11:05am this morning which resulted in some credit card transactions failing. We have been advised this problem is now resolved.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Daylight savings

All auctions due to close between 2am and 4am on Sunday 28 September will be extended by two hours for daylight savings.

Remember to set your clock forward one hour before going to bed on Saturday night.

We’ve made a change to Womenswear to make it easier and faster to find women’s clothing.

For example, if you’re looking at size 12 dresses, you can narrow the selection by clicking on Casual, Evening or Other.

Change to Top Seller programme

In light of community feedback, we're changing how often we review Top Seller status, effective Monday 22 September.

If you're not currently a Top Seller, your status will be checked every Monday and will be based on your last six calendar weeks of sales.

Top Sellers will continue to be evaluated every six weeks.

9:00pm: Auctions Not Closing Properly

We experienced an issue where auctions were remaining in the “Closing…” status. We have corrected the problem and these auctions are now beginning to close.

We currently have over 1,200 roles in 22 industries with a salary of $100k or more.

12:50: Technical Problems this Afternoon

We experienced some network problems this afternoon which affected Trade Me’s availability between 12:36pm and 1:10pm.

All auctions due to close between 12:36pm and 1:20pm were extended by 1 hour.

Success fees and Top Seller programme

We have increased some of our success fees in general auctions.

We have also introduced a Top Seller programme. Top Sellers save 10% on all fees and accept Pay Now payments for free.
